Friday August 8 spent
time with Gary on “Trophy” installing the electric down rigger and learning the
system shut down on the stereo. Gary and Wendy go fishing and we both manage to
latch on to big Northern Coho and by days end we have fish guts all over the
varnish and no room in the fridge.

The crew from the “Flying Fish” have been
invited over for Salmon dinner which Penny prepares as exquisite as the Salmon
House Restaurant. She has slow cooked them in tin foil in the oil stove and
they are done to a turn. Don and I test my birthday scotch out and it is sooooooo
good (it does not have a screw top on the bottle and has a strange Gallic name).
Gary dips into his private reserve of diet Pepsi. Another
great day with good friends
