Friday August 29 we cast off for the final leg of are return home and we set a
course for the end of Indian Arm. This will be an eight to nine hour day
because the tide is not with us. Some of
the time we are down to six and half knots and I surmise the slow speed can be
contributed to the 17 knot wind quartering on the old girl. Again it’s a little
bumpy but we have got Chevy settles down and Pen and I cover each other at the
wheel.

I spend time off watch on my scavenger hunt for the family weekend and Pen reads a bit and try’s a little work on her blog. We reach Iron Bay and It is time to renew old friendships and tell tall tales about are time north of the RAPIDS. Tracey & Drew (our kids) and grandkids are here, so it’s a wonderful time and the wine freely flows sooner than later.
